We host pop-up markets & events in the Triangle. We’re proud to provide a marketplace for local small businesses creating handmade arts, crafts, vintage items and foods. Every vendor is carefully screened with a commitment to creating a diverse marketplace with the highest quality products available.

 
 

A JURIED MARKET, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Food & Flea Productions hosts juried markets. We are careful to pick vendors that offer high quality handmade or vintage items. We do allow multiple jewelers, soap makers, candle makers & the like but we do try to limit how many are on site for each event.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE

Before we begin, there are some things we do not accept. If any of these are relevant to you, we politely ask that you do not apply to become a vendor:

  • Representatives that resell corporate or retail items.

  • Service providers looking for a place to promote their service.

  • Vendors selling offensive materials, tobacco, or firearms.


 

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. All vendors must fill out a Vendor Application , pay the application fee and wait to be accepted via an acceptance email. If you have not received an acceptance email, you may not rent a booth space.

2. Vendors are chosen based on quality and variety.

3. We accept New Vendor Applications year-round.

4. A regular vendor fee is required each month and must be paid at least 10 days in advance with payment of $75.00 for individual months, $55.00 if paid in bulk(4 months) & $90 for our Night Market.

5. No spaces will be reserved without payment.

6. An NC Tax ID # is required.

7. Insurance is recommended.

8. Each vendor must supply their own table, displays, and 10x10 tent. If power is needed, please specify at checkout…we only have a few booth spaces with power at our Food & Flea markets, power is not guaranteed at Wander Markets or any other events.

9. All tents MUST be properly weighted and be sure that your display can handle the elements. If you do not weight your tent, you will be asked to take it down. Be prepared for the weather & dress accordingly. Tents may not be larger than 10x10 nor may they have legs that protrude outside of the 10x10 footprint.

10. Must keep space clean and remove all garbage generated from the site.

11. There are limited Vendor Spaces. We encourage you to sign up early as we do fill up!

Cancellation Policy

We do not offer any refunds on our monthly markets. We understand small business is hard, this is why we are doing our best to keep our vendor fees reasonable. Should you need to cancel a market, please let us know as soon as you are able. Please contact us with any questions or concerns regarding our cancellation policy.
Weather Cancellation: Our ultimate goal is to insure that our vendors and patrons have an enjoyable experience. If we have to cancel due to inclement weather we will make the call with at least 24 hrs notice. There will be no refunds on cancelled markets, however we will offer an alternative date for a market reschedule. If you cannot attend the make up market, you are entitled to a discounted rate for another market that takes place during that year. This discount cannot be used for our “Summer Nights” market but can be used for any of the 2nd Sunday Food & Flea markets.

 

Terms of Use

Space options are 10x10 booth space only.

What cannot be sold:

  • Firearms

  • Tobacco

  • Combustibles

  • No offensive or provocative items

  • We do not accept resellers of corporate or retail items



Set-up & Tear-down

  • Set-up times vary per event. An email is sent the week of specifying layout & load in/out details.

  • Tear-down only takes place immediately after the event ends.

  • Must clean-up and remove all garbage from your space, pack it in, pack it out!

  • No spaces will be reserved without payment

Liability

Food & Flea Productions will not be responsible for any stolen or damaged goods & materials or injuries in and around your booth.

We recommend each vendor have their own insurance.


Compliance

Vendor assumes all responsibility for compliance with all pertinent ordinances and codes of Local, State and Federal governing bodies concerning rules and regulations.
